- What's included in Free?
- DNS and site blocking, custom blocklists, schedules, app time limits (configured on web, enforced on native apps), browser-extension AI blur, one accountability partner, three Guided Meditation sessions per month, and basic Halo check-ins. Free is designed to stay competitive with typical blocker and limit apps.
- What's the difference between Student and Full?
- Student ($2.99/mo with .edu verification) adds OS-wide AI blur, the full meditation library, and three partner slots. Full ($10.99/mo or $109/yr) adds unlimited partners, level-gated community rooms, recovery course series, and advanced tamper lock — meditation plus accountability in one subscription.
- How does student verification work?
- Go to /settings/verify-student. If your account email already ends in .edu, confirm in one click. Otherwise enter your school .edu email — we send a confirmation link to that inbox. After you confirm, return to verify-student and subscribe. Student checkout is blocked until verification completes.
- Is there a free trial?
- Full tier includes a 30-day free trial on the monthly plan. Student and Family bill immediately at checkout. Free tier is always $0.
- Do I need native apps for blocking to work?
- You can configure blocklists, schedules, and time limits on the web dashboard today. OS-wide DNS blocking, AI blur beyond the browser, geo, and family comms monitoring require installing Heavenlock on Windows, macOS, Android, or iOS. We're honest in copy: web configures; native enforces.
- What does the Family plan include?
- Up to five Full-tier seats with parent/child account linking, geo location and safe zones (native app), app time tracking, conversation monitoring across messaging apps, remote blocking on child devices, AI content summarization and flagging for parents, and communication activity logging. COPPA-aware consent is required for minors.
- How does Heavenlock compare on price?
- Guided Meditation apps run ~$12.99/mo (student plans around $9.99/yr, meditation only). Parental monitoring ~$14/mo. Blockers and accountability apps ~$8–17/mo each.
